About eComID
eComID is building the Shopping Passport for modern commerce - a shopper context layer that enables brands to understand and personalize every shopper from their very first visit. By combining AI-powered sizing, conversational search and intelligent product discovery, we’re making online shopping smarter, more personal and less wasteful.
Launched in Stockholm in 2024, eComID is already operating at scale, reaching more than 20 million shoppers every month. We recently raised a $17.4 million seed round - the largest in European fashion-tech history and the second-largest globally.
We’re backed by H&M Group, Stadium, leading international VCs and some of Europe’s most successful industry leaders and technology founders, including Helena Helmersson, Sebastian Knutsson, Maria Raga and Alan Mamedi.
Now, we’re bringing together exceptional people with warm hearts to build a world-class fashion-tech company from Stockholm. If you want to solve meaningful problems, move fast and help shape how the world shops, this is the place to do it.
What you will work on
We are looking for a Solutions Engineer who can work closely with our brands, understand their technical setup, and help them successfully integrate and launch EcomID.
You will sit between customers, product, and engineering. Your job is to make integrations smooth, solve technical problems quickly, and ensure brands get real value from our products.
This is not a traditional support role. You will own technical onboarding, help shape integration decisions, and bring what you learn from customers directly back into the product.
You will work directly with brands from technical discovery through launch and beyond, including:
Leading the technical onboarding of new brands
Understanding customer systems, ecommerce platforms, APIs, data flows, and integration constraints
Helping brands integrate EcomID into their existing technical stack
Guiding customer engineering teams through implementation and launch
Troubleshooting integration issues across frontend, backend, APIs, and data
Configuring and validating integrations before going live
Working closely with our engineering team when deeper technical changes are required
Writing scripts, prototypes, or small integration components when useful
Helping customers understand our APIs, SDKs, data requirements, and technical capabilities
Identifying recurring integration problems and turning them into better tooling, documentation, or product improvements
Supporting complex technical conversations during the sales process
Helping define scalable onboarding processes as EcomID grows
Acting as a technical partner to some of the largest brands we work with
You will have a direct impact on how quickly customers can launch and how successfully they use EcomID.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who is technically strong, comfortable working directly with customers, and enjoys solving ambiguous problems.
You should have experience with several of the following:
Working in a customer-facing technical role
Integrating APIs, SDKs, or web-based products
Understanding web applications and modern frontend/backend architectures
JavaScript or TypeScript
Python or another general-purpose programming language
HTTP, REST, RPC, authentication, webhooks, and common integration patterns
Debugging issues across different systems and environments
Working directly with engineers and technical stakeholders at customers
Translating technical problems into clear explanations and practical solutions
Managing multiple customer integrations in parallel
Taking ownership of projects from discovery through launch
Experience with ecommerce platforms, fashion technology, data integrations, or AI-powered products is a plus.
We care more about technical curiosity, judgement, and communication than whether you have used our exact stack before.
Our current tech stack
Today our core stack includes:
Languages: Python, Go, TypeScript
Services/libraries: GCP, BigQuery, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Redis, Apache Beam, Kubeflow, Feast, PyTorch, Typesense, Milvus, ConnectRPC
You do not need deep experience across all of these technologies, but you should be comfortable understanding technical systems and learning quickly.
What we value
We are looking for someone who:
Takes ownership and follows problems through to resolution
Enjoys working directly with customers
Can explain technical concepts clearly without unnecessary complexity
Is comfortable moving between technical detail and business context
Thinks about the customer outcome, not just the integration itself
Is proactive in identifying problems before they become blockers
Can debug unfamiliar systems methodically
Knows when to solve something directly and when to involve engineering
Builds trust with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Brings customer feedback back into product and engineering
Looks for ways to turn one-off solutions into scalable improvements
Is comfortable in a fast-moving environment where every integration may look slightly different
What we offer
A best-in-class team with warm hearts and no ego. We care deeply about the quality of our work, while staying kind, humble, and easy to work with. The goal is always to build the best product possible, not to win internal arguments.
A direct connection to customers and product. You will see first-hand how brands use EcomID and have a strong voice in how we improve the product.
Real ownership. You will own technical onboarding and integrations from discovery through launch, with the freedom to solve problems in the way that makes the most sense.
Work closely with engineering and AI. You will collaborate directly with the teams building our products and help translate customer needs into better technical solutions.
Visible impact. The work you do directly affects how quickly customers launch, how successful they are, and how EcomID scales.
A broad technical scope. You will work across APIs, frontend integrations, backend systems, data flows, ecommerce platforms, and AI-powered products.
Freedom to improve how we work. If you see a better way to onboard customers, build tooling, improve documentation, or simplify an integration, we want you to drive it.
High standards without unnecessary process. We care about thoughtful execution and strong customer outcomes while keeping communication direct and decision-making fast.
The chance to shape the next stage of the company. You will help define how EcomID works with customers as we scale to more brands and more complex integrations.
